SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

The raw materials produced by COMIND are extracted respecting all the technical, legal and environmental rules and laws. The mining activity is authorized with the Mining Lease Nº EHP-141 issued by Agencia Nacional Minera for 30 years and by Plan de Manejo Ambiental approved by Corporación Autonoma Regional de Cundinamarca “CAR” with the licence Nº 1897 – 2008.

COMIND is in continual improvement for environment, health and safety of workers and operates in close collaboration with professionals from various fields in order to guarantee it. During these years we have invested a lot to respect the environment, building important works in the mine and in the treatment plant, and also by environmental monitoring factors with analysis of water, air and noise and with environmental recovery of the areas that are no longer growing mining object.

Protecting the health of workers and safety in the workplace are a priority for COMIND, which undertakes to extend the principle of the prevention to all company levels.
